For the first few weeks of working from home during the Coronavirus pandemic, a team of education and healthcare designers got together to develop a case study on how to reuse unused schools to aid in the increase in COVID-19 cases. This document took into account a sample K-8 school in Arizona and created a hypothetical transformation into a Temporary Healthcare Center.

I was excited to be a part of this team where I helped review steps, gathered initial research to indicate the benefits to this temporary change, developed a matrix for any school to use as a guide, and aided in the final layout of the document.

A special thanks goes out to my Corgan team for the hard work you all put in getting this document together! Another big thank you goes out to our consultants (Hendersen Engineers, RLB, and BranchPattern) for you insight!
